Hey all! It came to my attention that many HoneyBook users didn’t know we had a timeline feature! Say what!
Here is a video template to help you find it and go over a few of the features. Excuse how awkward I am this is my first video ever you guys!
If you can’t listen to the video skip below to a written step by step tutorial!
Click on your clients project
Next to activity click “Files”
Click on the words in blue “Show More.” There you will find the Timeline option!
From there you will be able to create a timeline that you can share with clients and other vendors. Your client will not be able to make any changes; however, if they would like any changes to be made you will be able to go back and make all the edits your heart desires! This timeline feature is very helpful for all kinds of creatives! As a wedding photographer I sometimes find that my clients need help creating a timeline so this is ideal for keeping all of their files together in one place, making changes later on and lets be real: it looks pretty.
For those of you not in the wedding industry I’m sure you will find this tool useful still! Under one timeline file you can add multiple for dates. If you are working on a project that has multiple dates (i.e. if you are a painter working on a mural! You might need to create a new one for each day!). When you hit that big blue plus button on the left side it adds a new one in the workspace. You then can change the dates on each. If you want to remove one just hover over the date and you will see a little trash can to delete!
